The Power of Story-Telling throughout Black History

Using the power of words and imagery from my recent journey, I strive to Educate, Elevate, and Empower

Roen Higgins is an award-winning spoken word poet, educator, dynamic speaker, certified impact coach, and a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) facilitator.

This creative evangelist is the founder of The Elevated Creative.  Her mission is to elevate her audience with important life skills such as self-care, resilience, leadership, creative literacy, and community well-being. Roen is a former Special Care Counselor with  22 years' service at the the English Montreal School Board (EMSB). It is the largest English public school board in Quebec with a youth and adult sector population of more than 44,000 students. 

As a community change agent, Roen loves helping young people emerge and adults shift towards elevation. As a coach, she is dedicated to raising others to get unstuck and tap into their genius zone.
