Ottawa Storytellers

The Ottawa Library and the professional Ottawa Storytellers set up an annual bilingual Children’s Storytelling Festival which is available free to young people. The Festival is aimed at improving the literacy of young children.

In 2021, the Scholarship Trust and CFUW/Kanata were asked to sponsor an individual storyteller for $325 which enabled online videos /materials and covered storytelling fees.
