Pot Luck Lunch - 3^rd Friday Noon

Pot Luck Lunch is held on the Third Friday of the month at Noon rotating at different members' homes.

The Pot Luck Lunch is a gathering of members to share lovely food, conversation, and memories.
A volunteer host offers her home for a fun-filled afternoon.

Lunch "etiquette" rules for the group to follow: 

• New members are most welcome to join this Interest Group. Become a member or contact our Membership Director for more information if you wish to join in the fun.
• There are 2 hosts per month; each member hosts at least once a year.
• A host may pick a theme for the lunch (e.g. Xmas, Spring, Irish, or Raclette) but it is not obligatory or expected.
• A balanced menu works well: try to coordinate appetizer, vegetable, main dish, and dessert. 
• Participants who drink wine are asked to contribute a bottle of wine at least twice a year.
• Each host will advise the group how many chairs they can accommodate.
• Host will provide a table setting, name tags for seating, as well as liquid refreshments, such as tea, coffee, or fruit juice.
• If a host is unable to host, she should try and find a replacement and advise the Convenor of any changes. 
• The Convenor will remind members on a monthly basis of each month's meeting location.
• Members will be punctual and notify hosts if unable to attend. 
• Reservations can only be made on the First Day of the month.
• Participants will let the host know what food they will bring. If they cannot attend due to an unforeseen issue, then advise the host how you will provide the missing food item.
• Photos of the Pot Luck Lunch are recommended for our CFUW Kanata Archives.

Breakfast Club - 1st Friday of the month @ 9:30am at Busters' Bar & Grill, 420 Hazeldean Road, Kanata. 

We have a big round table, so come join the conversation!

Ladies Gourmet - 2nd Monday, 6:00 p.m.

Dinner guests meet monthly at their member's convenience for an evening of fine dining and socializing.

If you enjoy being adventurous with food, this is the group for you!  We all share in hosting and cooking and the cost of the meal.

International Cuisine - 4th Friday 6:30 p.m.

This group meets to become familiar with the culture, foods and new ingredients from countries all over the world. Sometimes one of us may have traveled to one of these countries where we found interesting, different food that would be fun to try to cook and to share the experience with other people who are not afraid to venture into the unknown. We listen to the music of the selected country as well as learn about some of the traditions.
We have been known to sing and dance at these fourth Friday of the month! The ambiance of the country is reflected in the table setting, the décor and clothing of the diners.
