Tricia Carran is certified with 200+ hours of yoga instruction and she has been teaching to all age groups for twelve years. Her classes and her approach are gentle, affirming, and positive. These days she focuses her yoga teaching on those whose bodies have experienced life!
Since the pandemic, Tricia has switched to teaching online using Zoom. She teaches a regular hatha class and a class she calls "yoga with a chair" which is perfect for those of us with creaky knees and joints that complain if we have to get down on the floor.
For this presentation, Tricia will offer some strength and stretch poses to work your muscles and free your joints for about 30 minutes. She will finish with a 10-minute guided meditation to exercise your breath and calm your mind.
How to Prepare for this Practical Workshop
To get the most out of this practical workshop session, Tricia suggests members wear comfortable stretch pants, sweats, yoga pants or similar. Set up a straight back chair with space around it to move and stretch. No other special equipment is required.
You can turn off your own video, so you can see and follow along with Tricia, but nobody will be able to see you!
