Habitat Greater Ottawa provides a bridge to affordable homeownership, helping to reduce the City’s social housing waitlist and supporting families to gain financial independence.

With the help of local Habitat families, donors, community partners, and volunteers, Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa builds affordable homes that provide a solid foundation for local families.

Marc Caron

After 35 years in Civil Engineering and the High Tech industry, Marc  focused much of his energy on Habitat for Humanity, both locally in Ottawa and internationally.

Marc has served as interim CEO at Habitat Greater Ottawa and is a Global Village team leader. He led volunteer teams and supported Habitat’s work in Canada, South America, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia. In addition, Marc has recruited over 100 individuals to volunteer on Global Village builds.
