Joie des Livres:                    4th Wednesday of the month @ 1:30 p.m.

Reading is to the mind as exercise is to the body:

Reading expands our vocabulary, makes us think about things we wouldn’t otherwise ponder, and takes us to places we wouldn’t otherwise go. We discover and learn; we are consoled and challenged.

Sometimes, limiting discussions to pre-selected books may feel too restrictive, so we invite you to review a good read by any living author that you have really enjoyed, or that has had a special impact on you. The kind of book where, when you come to the end, you can’t let go of it … you keep thinking about it. It was insightful? Touching? Gripping? Informative? Calming? Share your personal review of the book and tell us why you would recommend it to our group. There is no limit on genre or topic, but you must have read and personally enjoyed the book - for whatever reason.
