We are planning a “thrilling” trip to Perth Classic Theatre and invite you to join us. Our theatre outings are well-attended and lots of fun. This latest play promises to have you on the edge of your seat! Thursday, August 24 – and we’ll all be back before midnight!!

"The Power of Women Working Together." Our Annual General Meeting highlighted another year of exceptional women doing exceptional work for our community. Guest speaker Sue Garvey shared details of her admirable work at "Cornerstone" which provides emergency shelter and safe, affordable, permanent housing for homeless women in Ottawa. https://www.cornerstonewomen.ca

April 11 - is resolution time for CFUW/Kanata. Join us to give your voice to this year’s resolutions on The Right to Safe, Clean, Accessible and Affordable Drinking Water and Sanitation on First Nations Reserves in Canada, and Universal Pharmacare. May 9 - Be sure to reserve this date for our AGM. This is our annual celebration of another great year for CFUW/Kanata. An inspiring guest speaker, dinner, special awards, and relaxed socializing promise a fine closure to this year’s club activities.  (Click on AGM to learn more.)

The "weather outside was frightful" - but our guest speaker, Charlotte Gray, and her attentive audience who braved the spring snowstorm, enjoyed a delightful conversation about Charlotte's latest book, "The Promise of Canada," in which she described her extensive research and fascinating findings about nine influential Canadians who have helped to shape our country but whose stories are not generally well known.
