    "The Power of Women Working Together." Our Annual General Meeting highlighted another year of exceptional women doing exceptional work for our community. Guest speaker Sue Garvey shared details of her admirable work at "Cornerstone" which provides emergency shelter and safe, affordable, permanent housing for homeless women in Ottawa. https://www.cornerstonewomen.ca

Join us to give your voice to this year’s resolutions on The Right to Safe, Clean, Accessible and Affordable Drinking Water and Sanitation on First Nations Reserves in Canada, and Universal Pharmacare.     The "weather outside was frightful" - but our guest speaker, Charlotte Gray, and her attentive audience who braved the spring snowstorm, enjoyed a delightful conversation about Charlotte's latest book, "The Promise of Canada," in which she described her extensive research and fascinating findings about nine influential Canadians who have helped to shape our country but whose stories are not generally well known.
