ShelterBox Canada - Disaster Relief

Ronaldson's home was severely damaged during Hurricane Melissa

The ShelterBox, Food for the Poor (local organization) and Rotary team helped repair his home as part of a community training session. Local builders and carpenters worked alongside our teams to give community members practical training, showcase best practices, and help them develop skills to last a lifetime. Trained community members, carpenters, and builders then worked with us to further rebuild and repair communities as part of a collective effort.

The ShelterBox solution is as simple as it is effective. ShelterBox delivers the essentials a family needs to survive in the immediate aftermath of a disaster   https://shelterboxcanada.org/

We provide shelter, essential items and technical assistance to help some of the world’s most vulnerable people recover and rebuild their homes after disaster. We listen and adapt our support to the needs of each community, working together with those affected by disaster, alongside our supporters and partners.

ShelterBox is a Rotary Project Partner
