    Enchanted Mosaic:  A delightful exhibition of indigenous art and a musical variety show to highlight the impressive talents of our dancers, musicians, and singers. There’s also a silent auction. It will be a lovely evening:  Be sure to join us.

    Noel Salmond was a gracious and tremendously interesting speaker at last night's meeting. He certainly got us all thinking about the Chaudiere Falls in new ways.

    There's a buzz of activity right now as we get ready for this year's art show and concert. All proceeds go to support post-secondary scholarships for local high school graduates. Please support our evening of music, dancing and visual delights on Saturday, November 10.

    Cake and "bubbly" got the meeting off to a lively start and members signed up for interest group activities. After this past week's visit to Rideau Hall,  we are busily planning  more events this fall:

    1. Rick Mofina, celebrated Canadian writer of fast-paced thrillers, will join us at the Beaverbrook Library on October 3rd.  Details 
    2. Professor Noel Salmond from Carleton University will share his knowledge in Revisioning the Chaudière Falls, on Tuesday, October 9, at 7:00 p.m. at Stonehaven Apartments. Be sure to join us for this interesting presentation.
    3. We are busily preparing for our 6th annual Enchanted Mosaic. Web details will be available soon. Members are asked to support this event by volunteering to help. Click to see volunteer help needed

    This is the centennial year for CFUW. We are celebrating 100 years of the power of women working together. To get our new season started, please join us to meet and greet members and friends as we plan for an exciting new program. Sign up for interest group activities and enjoy a celebratory slice of birthday cake as you catch up with all the news.

    Bring a friend: New members are always welcome. This is an opportunity for them to check out who we are and what we do.
